Julianna Dail is a senior at the Academy of the Holy Angels in Demarest, NJ. Having developed an interest in environmental engineering at a young age, she founded Arbores Ad Aequitas, Trees for Equity, to bridge her passion with social justice and make a difference in underserved communities.

Arbores Ad Aequitas is a not for profit organization which aims to improve the environment of urban areas by increasing tree canopy. Urban areas that lack tree coverage suffer from environmental, health, social, economic, and infrastructure issues. Tree inequity disproportionately affects marginalized BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) communities.
Through tree plantings, informative workshops, and partnerships with local initiatives, Arbores Ad Aequitas spreads awareness about tree inequity and promotes solutions to the problem. Arbores Ad Aequitas values support and contributions. Please see our other tabs or reach out to learn what you can do to help!
